LiChen Dong

I am currently a 2nd year PhD student in Clinical Psychology doing my research on externalizing behaviors. I am originally from Shanghai, China, but spent four years in Charlottesville, Virginia pursuing my undergraduate degree. In the near future, I hope to continue to do a lot of cool science and also teach classes here at UW. The thing that I spend the most time on outside of work is walking my cat, who loves people and the outdoors.

What excites you most about UW-LINK?

What excites me the most about the LINK Study is its longitudinal aspect, the opportunity to get to know our participants and watch them grow to better understand the stability and change in child development. I am also privileged to work with our participating families, from whom I can learn about the ecology of child development in real life.
